Toyota Avanza Interior Features Revealed: Video

KUALA LUMPUR : Toyota is making headlines these days with its new facelifted version of Toyota Avanza. Though, the company has not yet revealed any information about this facelifted Avanza, the Internet is flooded with not so clear pictures of these new MUV. Earlier, we showed you the transformation this car is going to receive, through the hazy images of its interior and exterior. But now a video on Youtube clearly highlights the hard work Toyota has put into its car.

As for the exterior, both the 'standard' and 'sport' trim levels will receive major changes. The standard Avanza will now get a big trapezoidal grille which is smoothly connected to its re-styled headlights, that are joined by the chrome plate. As for the 'sport' variant, it seems to receive same chrome plate and headlights, with the only difference being the downward shifted grille. The rear profile in both the trim showcases vertical taillights, sharp character lines and a chrome finish number plate.

The major highlight here is its interiors that are seen clearly for the first time. As per the video, the new Toyota Avanza will receive a touchscreen display system supporting the Bluetooth connectivity, with boxy air-con above it. Also its center console housing the gear lever seems to have received some modifications. The new instrument cluster fully complements the new brown colored seats. The family car with 50:50 split second-row seat will integrate new headrest and three-point seat belt, taking full care of your comfort and safety.

Under the bonnet, Avanza will receive Dual VVT-i technology, that will increase the car's fuel efficiency. Though, the engine spec are still under the shadow, it is speculated to run on a 1.3L Dual VVT-i petrol unit, along with the ongoing 1.5L VVT-i unit. Also, the five-speed manual and four-speed automatic transmissions that run the current version is expected to accompany the facelifted Toyota Avanza.
