Volvo S90 Interior Revealed Through a Video

Kuala Lumpur: Ahead of its debut at the upcoming 2016 Detroit Motor Show, Volvo has revealed the interior of its S90 through a promotional video. Some days back, a few official exterior pictures were also released by Volvo. Earlier, we have seen many videos regarding its design and driving but this was its first interior video and it looks impressive. This 96 second clip gives a detailed look of Volvo S90 interior.

Going by the S90 video, it features a spacious cabin which is designed with high quality materials. The centre console of this car is integrated with a large 9.0-inch tablet display along with vertical air vents on both the sides. The close-up shots in the videos clearly show its open-pore Nordic wood trim. Further, one can also find Bowers and Wilkins audio system. Its classiness is further accentuated with plush white leather seating and various luxurious appointments. Apart from this, there are various other features which would be appreciated by its owners.

Launched as an effective replacement of Volvo S80, this car competes with the likes of Mercedes E-Class, Jaguar XF, BMW 5 Series and Audi A6. To brief you up, this car comes integrated with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine which churns out a maximum power of 320 hp at 5700 rpm along with a commanding torque of 220 Nm at 5400 rpm. Moreover, two diesel engines are also offered, both being a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbodiesel engine with different power figures. The first one churns out a maximum power of 235 hp at 4000 rpm along with a peak torque of 480 Nm at 1750-2250 rpm while the other one delivers 190 hp at 4250 rpm and 400 Nm of torque at 1750-2500 rpm. Additionally, a T8 plug-in hybrid Twin engine is also provided.

It is also designed with world class safety technologies and highly advanced semi-autonomous feature which allows steering assistance for up to 130 kmph. It is also integrated with Volvo's very own IntelliSafe Pro system, IntelliSafeSurround along with IntelliSafeAssist.
