The Ranger, with its all American brute looks, indeed looks macho and muscular, especially at the front. The frontal looks shared with the Ford Everest SUV looks intimidating.

While the engine surprises you with the amount of power it packs in, the levels of refinement, especially in the higher rpms. The engine sounds noisy and gruffy, which despite having a good sound insulation system, makes its presence felt inside the cabin with its loudness.

Being a pickup truck with quite a high ground clearance, the Ford Ranger has not that great and plush ride quality. The suspension is good enough to eat up all the undulations on the tarmac with ease, however, it is not plush to keep the inner occupants comfortable.
