Kuala Lumpur: 2015 Ford Everest is all set to mark a launch in Malaysia which would eventually shake-up the much-settled market of Toyota Fortuner. Engine and Specifications:
Both the cars have got their own USPs so one cannot declare a clear winner. While Ford Everest can generate a power of 192 hp at just 3000 rpm with its 3.2-litre TDCi Duratorq diesel engine, the Toyota Fortuner has taken a back seat with its 2.7-litre DOHC engine with VVT-i which can produce only 160 PS at 5200 rpm. Talking about the torque, Ford Everest has again hit the nail on the head with its commanding torque of 470 Nm at 1750-2500 rpm unlike Fortuner's torque of 343 Nm at 1600-2800.
