Let’s now discuss the revisions in detail, starting with the revised engine configuration. The new X-ADV is powered by the tried and tested 745-cc, liquid-cooled, two-cylinder, 4-stroke, SOHC, 8-valve mill that pumps out a maximum power of 58 hp at 6,750 rpm along with a peak torque of 69 Nm at 4,750 rpm. Showing that the power and torque figure are improved by 3 hp and 1 Nm, respectively.

Furthermore, the bike benefits from a new diamond-type frame that calls for more than 1kg weight reduction. On the transmission front is a 6-speed Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT), which now features automatic shifting schedules. Wherein the shorter ratios of first, second, and third gears calls for smarter acceleration, while excellent mileage and relaxed high-speed cruising comes from tall fourth, fifth, and sixth gear ratios.
