Honda CB650R and CBR650R get new colours and visuals in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: Boon Siew Honda has introduced new colours and graphics for the 2023 Honda CB650R Neo Sports Café middleweight and its sibling, the CBR650R, in Malaysia. 

The new Honda CB650R is available in Candy Chromosphere Red and Mat Jeans Blue Metallic, and the all-new Mat Gunpowder Black Metallic shade. The latter is complemented by all-black detailing on the cam cover, side shrouds, fork stanchions, levers, and footpegs. 

The new Honda CBR650R, on the other hand, benefits from refreshed visuals for both its colour choices, namely Grand Prix Red and Mat Gunpowder Black Metallic, along with engine and cam covers painted in black. The Grand Prix Red sports a new black front mudguard, a new red fork spring, and a new black belly pan with a bold red Honda logo. The Mat Gunpowder Black Metallic boasts a new red shock spring and new blue accents on the tank, tail and fairing.

Both models continue to run on the same 649cc, DOHC 16-valve, EURO 5 engine, which is tuned to generate a maximum power of 93.8 at 12,000 rpm and a peak torque of 64 Nm at 8,500 rpm. The power is sent to the ground via a six-speed gearbox and chain final drive system.
