Honda Vario 125 gets a splash of new colours in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: Boon Siew Honda, the official distributor of Honda motorcycles in Malaysia, has updated the colour palette of the popular Vario 125, offering riders more ways to express their style.

The bikemaker has introduced two new shades - Matte Blue and a vibrant Blue, which complement the existing lineup of Magenta and Silver. The new Matte Blue shade makes the scooter look more refined and sophisticated, while the vibrant Blue lends it an energetic look. 

With the colour upgrade, there is no change in price and specifications. The Honda Vario 125 is still priced at RM 7,268 (excluding road tax, insurance and registration). 

Touted as the perfect urban scooter, the Vario 125 is designed to elevate your everyday rides with convenience and peace of mind. It boasts a sharp styling with an aggressive headlight and tail light design and 14-inch wheels mated to 90/80 front and 100/80 rear tyres. 

At its heart lies the same tried-and-tested 125-cc, four-stroke, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, SOHC engine, which is tuned to deliver 11.5 hp of maximum power at 8,500 rpm and 11.74 Nm of peak torque at 5,000 rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheel via a CVT gearbox and a belt drive system. The Vario is a certified Energy Efficient Vehicle (EEV), offering outstanding performance with exceptional fuel efficiency.

• Honda Smart Key System: It comes with a Smart ignition switch and advanced security features with an Anti Theft Alarm and Answer Back System.
• Full Digital Speedometer: The scooter features a full digital speedometer with a sophisticated display, providing all essential riding-related information. 

• USB Charger: The vehicle has a USB charger, located in the console box, to charge gadgets while riding.
• Full LED Lighting: There is lull LED lighting, ensuring enhanced visibility and a modern look.
• 18 Litre utility box: The underseat storage space is measured at 18 litres, allowing you to carry essential stuff comfortably. 
• Idling Stop System: It helps reduce noise, improve fuel efficiency, and contribute to environmental protection.

• Parking Brake Lock: The scooter also features parking brake locks for safe starting or parking.
• Balanced suspension: The suspension is taken care of by conventional telescopic forks at the front and a single preload-adjustable shock absorber at the rear. 
• Reliable brakes: It gets a hydraulic disc brake at the front and a mechanical drum unit at the rear.
• Combi Brake System: This function increases braking confidence even in emergencies with MyMAP Certificate.

The 2025 Honda Vario 125 is now available at all Honda IMPIAN X and authorized dealerships nationwide.
