Taking the John Cooper Works up to the Genting Highlands has always been one of the best riding experiences I ever had. It comes with a 2.0L turbocharged engine, delivering 228hp of power, owing to which I felt that punch as I was climbing uphill. The handling is razor sharp, letting me hug every corner of the windy roads. Considering the traffic I encounter on the KL roads, the JCW felt nimble and fun while the sporty exhaust note made driving quite exhilarating. On highways, I can easily cruise at high speeds with confidence. The only gripe I have is about the firm suspension system, which makes riding on the undulating Malaysian roads quite difficult.
