Acceleration needs work but very fast car

For a car with a small frame and a lighter body than other comparable models, one of the things I don’t like about this car is that it does not accelerate very well. It takes over 6 seconds for this car to go from 0-100. It is not slow by any stretch of imagination but when you buy it for purposes like I did which is for light professional racing, it is difficult to get a competitive edge over others with this car. However, the handling does kind of make up for the bumps in acceleration. So overall, it actually works quite well on the track.
