Commanding driving position, punchy engine

I wanted to buy another car but since it was consistently stocked out I had to go with the Peugeot 3008. Initially, I didn’t even want to drive it as it was not my first choice but my son literally forced me to take it for a spin and my opinion about this car completely changed. The engine is responsive and punchy, yet refined and quiet. The gearbox is utterly slick and makes gear changes fuss-free. It is not a sport but not a clunky old barge either. Its driving position is very commanding. When a Range Rover or any other similar car pulls alongside you will notice you are sitting quite normally.
