Old name, new confidence on roads
There’s something quite refreshing about the new Proton Saga— it never pretends to be something it isn’t. I took it around Cheras, and that too during the peak hours. The light steering made navigating around tight corners thrilling and effortless. The updated infotainment system behaves like the driver’s best companion, and the Bluetooth pairing feature is quite responsive. I loved how the suspension tuning is at its best, absorbing the jerks and bumps of uneven road patches without letting the vibrations rattle the entire cabin. My only gripe is that uphill climbs require a heavier foot than I expected, but nothing that is a deal breaker.
