Striking presence, firm ride quality
While the Toyota Camry may not be as flashy and sophisticated as some of its competition, it makes up in this department with its striking presence. It is well-equipped and looks stunning from every angle. The electronics play an important role in keeping things under control, but its large size and light steering make it uneasy to drive during long excursions. For its size, the tyres are too small, which doesn’t help. However, in a straight line, it drives fine. The ride quality of the Camry is a bit firmer, but at low speeds, this significantly improves comfort and can handle small bumps easily.
