No screens and displays, just sensation
The Toyota GR-86 reminded me why a simple sports car still wins the race. The naturally aspirated 2.4-liter boxer engine thrives on revs, sounding much more eager than filtered. Paired with a Torsen limited-slip differential, it delivers a stunning balance that makes cruising along familiar hill roads predictable. I liked how the low seating position pulled me into the driving process, making shorter trips feel intentional. Steering feedback is direct, while the chassis encourages learning. For me, this car rewards patience and precision. On rougher city streets, the firm suspension transmits imperfections clearly. However, after long commutes, I do crave for a softer setup.
