What to Expect From Jaguar XE

Kuala Lumpur: Jaguar XE is all set to get launched in Malaysia on 28th January 2016. With its launch, this saloon would be rubbing its shoulder with the likes of BMW 3 series, Audi A4 and Mercedes-Benz C class. According to the automaker, it is the most advanced, refined and efficient sports saloon car that Jaguar has ever produced. Based on Jaguar's state-of-the-art technology, this car features an all-new Advanced Aluminium Architecture. Apart from its sporty character, Jaguar XE is blessed with all the features which a luxury sedan should inherit.

With its launch coming closer, we at CarBay decided to give you a sneak peak about what you can expect from the upcoming Jaguar XE.

1.Eye Catching Exterior

Towards the exterior, this car is blessed with upscale proportions. Just like all other Jaguar cars, this sedan has also got a rising waistline which adds to its drama. The front bumper features a sharp design along with its flanks. Moreover, a lot of inspiration has been taken from the Jaguar F-TYPE like chrome side vents stamped with Jaguar emblem and tight crease lines on the side profile. Its aerodynamically designed body sweeps air seamlessly pushing the Jaguar XE forward.

2.Next Generation Interior

Jaguar XE cabin is crafted with a satin chrome finish which gives it a luxurious feel. The F-TYPE inspired steering wheel is mounted with all the functions which can make the drive more convenient. The centre console of this car adds to next-generation feel with its touch screen technology. Moreover, the start button employed in this car awakens the Jaguar XE with much ease. Overall, it is integrated with a number of new age technologies which set it apart from its rivals.

3.Powerful Engine Options

Further, the fuel efficiency delivered by this engine comes to 23.8 kmpl. Talking about petrol engines, a total of three variants are provided. A 2.0-litre i4 turbocharged engine delivering 200 hp, a 2.0-litre i4 engine delivering 240 hp and a 3.0-litre V6 engine delivering 340 hp.
