    Variants and Prices

The I-Pace is available in two trims in the Malaysian market: the Black LE and HSE. The Black LE is the base model, and the HSE is the higher-end version. The base variant starts at RM 460,800, while the HSE variant starts at RM 498,800.  Both trims come with similar features, but the HSE variant comes with some additional features at a more expensive price.

The car is sold duty-free because of the Malaysian government's initiatives to promote EV adoption and achieve low-carbon mobility. The car also comes with a comprehensive warranty coverage period of 5 years/150,000 km (whichever comes earlier), 3-year roadside assistance, 5-year/102,000 km complimentary servicing, and an 8-year/160,000 km battery warranty.

    Engine

The I-Pace Black LE and HSE trims have same engine specifications. Both trims come with a 90 kWh battery pack that powers two electric motors, one for each axle. These motors produce a combined output of 400 PS of power and 696 Nm of torque.

The car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.8 seconds, making it one of the quickest electric SUVs in the market. Not just that, it has a top-speed rating of 200 km/hr. The I-Pace has a range of up to 470 kms on a single charge, which is more than enough for most daily commutes. It comes with 11 kW AC charging with the help of the onboard three-phase charger with a Type-2 charging cable, providing a 53 km-per-hour (WLTP) recharge rate. The battery takes about 9 hours for an empty-to-full charge.
