KUALA LUMPUR: Hennessey aims to manufacture 24 units of the Venom F5 hypercar and the company has now reached the milestone figure of ten.

  • During the holiday season, the automaker delivered the 10th Venom F5 coupe, sprayed in a buyer-specific metallic blue tone with striking white stripes. This unit is manufactured by a specialized team in a dedicated facility and was handed over to the owner at the Hennessey Special Vehicles in Sealy, Texas.

    The said specialized team was signed off for the full production of the car in March 2022 by the company’s founder and CEO John Hennessey and John Heinricy, Chief engineer. Since then the team has assembled over a dozen F5 Coupes and Roadsters.

    In 2023, Hennessey plans to increase its manufacturing rate compared to 2022. The automaker now has more than 90 employees building the car and projects to deliver more than 20 Venom F5s this year.

    While all 24 units of the coupe are reserved, a few roadsters are still up for grabs.

    A bit about the Venom F5 Coupe and Roadster -

    The Venom F5 Coupe production version made its debut in Dec 2022. The car is powered by a 6.6-liter twin-turbocharged mill generating a maximum power of 1,817 hp and a peak torque of 1,617 Nm. The company claims the car reaches a theoretical maximum velocity of 500 km per hour.

    The coupe weighs 1,360 kg and uses carbon-fiber monocoque and lightweight materials both on the outside and inside.

    As for the Venom F5 Roadster, it was revealed during the 2022 Monterey Car Week. It shares its powertrain configuration with the coupe, however with an added open-air experience.

    The car weighs slightly more than the coupe at 1,406 kg and showcases a top speed of 483 kmph.
