BMW Malaysia launches two new models - X3 30 xDrive M Sport and long-wheelbase iX1 EV
KUALA LUMPUR: BMW has expanded the X3 lineup in Malaysia, with the launch of a new variant, the BMW X3 30 xDrive M Sport. As the name suggests, the latest model sits above the X3 20 xDrive M Sport, introduced last year. At the same time, the automaker also announced the pricing for the all-new BMW iX1 eDrive20L M Sport, revealed earlier this year.

Under the skin of the new X3 30 xDrive M Sport lies a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine, integrated with 48V mild hybrid technology. Also part of the setup is an eight-speed Steptronic transmission and BMW xDrive all-wheel-drive system.

Photo from BMWThis is the long-wheelbase variant of the iX1 electric SUV, with a 110 mm extended wheelbase and an overall length increased by 116 mm, offering improved rear space and comfort. Alongside the additional legroom and kneeroom, the L version comes with softer foam cushioning and a longer seat base for extra comfort.
At its core lies a single front-wheel drive motor which produces 204 hp and 250 Nm of torque. The motor is fed by a 66.5 kWh battery pack, delivering a cruising range of 433 km (on the WLTP cycle). It supports 11 kW AC and 130 kW DC charging, the latter replenishes 10 to 80% battery in just 32 minutes.
