1995 Volkswagen Jetta for sale from the Original “Fast and the Furious” Movie

Kuala Lumpur: The 1995 Volkswagen Jetta from the original “Fast and the Furious” movie is up for sale at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale 2016 auction, from January 23 to 31. The sporty German sedan was taken up by “Jesse” (played by Chad Lindberg) in a race scene of the first “Fast and Furious”.

The exterior of this 1995 Jetta flaunts wild graphics and a unique body kit which was shown in the original “Fast and the Furious” movie. Inside, the car is well-equipped with a custom stereo in addition to an onboard PlayStation2. This car is not just a piece of cinema history, but also a rare collector's item for all the fans of Fast and Furious fame Paul Walker (Rest in Peace), Chad Linderg and the Director Rob Cohen.

Jesse's 1995 Volkswagen Jetta is currently owned by the Frankie Muniz, an American actor, starred in the famous FOX television's family sitcom Malcolm in the Middle, which has also earned him an Emmy Award nomination and two Golden Globe Award nominations. Muniz bought this car back at the age of 16 in 2002.

In the movie, Jetta was shown like a star in an action-packed racing scene, but in real life, the car is not as impressive as it looked in its reel-life because its powertrain contains a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine mated to a four-speed automatic transmission, which makes the Jesse's gear shifting in the movie quite pointless.

But still, the car has some historic value. It has been autographed by the Paul Walker (RIP)! So, if you ever dreamed of owning a "Fast and Furious" car, here is a golden opportunity!
