All-new Malaysia-spec Kia Carnival’s price announced

KUALA LUMPUR: Kia Malaysia opened the new Carnival’s ordering books in November and then the automaker showcased the SUV at the Drive Auto Fair at Setia Alam. Now, the official distributor of Kia, Dinamika Jaya Motors Sdn Bhd, has announced the car’s official price.

Kia’s latest 11-seater Grand Utility Vehicle retails for RM 196,340.80, on-the-road without insurance. Note, the price also includes a 5-year/100,000 km free maintenance.

Power: Kia’s new Carnival is powered by a 199 hp/440 Nm 2.2-litre turbo diesel mill

Transmission: The power is sent to the wheels via an 8-speed automatic gearbox

Exterior Features: LED lighting with signature graphics, smart powered sliding doors, 18-inch wheels, roof rails, smart powered tailgate, LED tail lights, and rain sensing wipers

Cabin - The seats can be customized from a spacious 6-seater to a 11-seater, three-zone air-con system, tinting film on windows, 12.3-inch touch screen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and 7 USB ports

Safety: 7 airbags, inclusive of a driver’s knee airbag, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) including blind-spot warning with rear cross-traffic assist and surround-view monitor system.
