KUALA LUMPUR: Hyundai stepped up its game in Malaysia last year by taking full control of its brand presence in the local market, shifting from a distributor-led model to a direct principal-led structure. The Korean carmaker established Hyundai Motor Malaysia (HMY) and launched three new SUVs (Santa Fe, Tucson, and Staria) as part of a renewed commitment. Fast forward to today, HMY is celebrating its first anniversary in Malaysia.

    • Up to RM36,000 instant cash rebate off the vehicle’s recommended retail price 

    "Durian Runtuh Berganda-ganda!" rewards campaign

    Besides offering limited-time rebates, free services & fuel subsidies, HMY has also announced the "Durian Runtuh Berganda-ganda!" rewards campaign.

    During this programme, customers who book or register any new Hyundai car will be entered for a chance to drive away Hyundai’s upcoming MPV, the Stargazer

    Previewed at KLIMS 2026, the MPV will be offered in three variants - Style (7-seater), Prime (7-seater) and X (6-seater), with estimated pricing ranging from RM 99k to RM 121k. All variants are powered by a 1.5-litre Smartstream G1.5 MPI drivetrain generating 115 PS of maximum power and 143.8 Nm of peak torque, paired with an Intelligent Variable Transmission and 2WD. 

    Additionally, customers who test drive, book, and register the brand-new Hyundai will also enter into the Monthly Lucky 7 Winners Campaign, where a total cash prize draw of RM 10,000 in Touch ‘n Go eWallet credit is up for grabs.
