The event is open to existing Kia owners, members of the media, and the general public. The Family Day segment from 15 to 17 May is specifically designed for owners, families, and anyone interested in Kia's products and services. The Kia Ownership Experience is part of a broader push by KSM to tighten up its after-sales operations and give existing owners a closer look at what the brand is actually doing on that front.

The event is open to Kia owners, media, and the general public, with a Family Day segment scheduled from 15 to 17 May covering vehicle maintenance sessions, kids' activities, product displays, and promotions.
"Through the Kia Ownership Experience, we aim to build closer relationships with our customers while supporting measurable improvements in our after-sales offerings across our growing network," said KSM President and CEO, Hyung Ho Kim.
KSM has framed its current direction around three priorities it calls Return, Rebuild, and Reposition, focused on long-term growth and improving what ownership actually feels like day-to-day for customers in Malaysia. One detail worth noting: some of the vehicles being inspected at the event have clocked over 400,000km, which gives a reasonable indication of how Kia models hold up under local conditions over time.

Senior Technical Manager Hyung Gyu Choi, who has been with Kia since 1993 and has over 34 years in after-sales and technical service globally, will be on the ground leading hands-on vehicle inspections throughout the week.
He and the KSM technical team will personally go through more than 100 Kia models spanning older nameplates like the Forte, Cerato, Optima, Picanto, Sorento, Grand Carnival, Sportage, and Sephia.
Owners with confirmed appointments will walk away with complimentary engine oil, original Kia windshield wipers, and a car wash after their inspection.
"Our ownership focus points at Kia Sales Malaysia are to strengthen dealer operations, provide exceptional value in terms of running costs, and ensure adequate parts supply with our almost 35,000 sq ft dedicated parts warehouse for greater service efficiency and faster turnaround times," said KSM Managing Director Emily Lek.
"Further to this, our structured 10-step service process reflects our commitment to service excellence — from appointment booking and personalized consultation, through to vehicle delivery and customer follow-up — and is designed to give our customers complete confidence and peace of mind throughout their ownership journey," she added.
TotalEnergies is the principal partner for the event. Goodyear, TRAPO, and EV Connection (EVC) are also on board, with promotions and product showcases running throughout the week.
