KUALA LUMPUR: Mercedes-Benz Malaysia is on a quest to further develop and strengthen its globally renowned Advanced Modern Apprenticeship programme. And the automaker has done the same via signing a memorandum of understanding with Montfort Boys Town. By doing so, the automaker will take its programme to a new high.

In case you aren’t aware of the Mercedes-Benz Advanced Modern Apprenticeship programme, via this the automaker educates and incubates secondary students by giving them a new skill set that promises them a secure future. This 3-year course covers a wide range of globally approved syllabus and it incorporates International Qualification up to Level 3.
How will the new MoU make getting into Mercedes-Benz ongoing apprenticeship programmes easier?
Under the 2-year MoU Mercedes-Benz Malaysia will run several programmes such as ‘Train the Trainer’ wherein the automaker will offer Montfort Boys Town trainers technical skills and expertise training on current models. The Montfort Boys Town trainer will then pass on the knowledge to the students.
The training curriculum is prepared in a way to expose interested students to the automaker’s apprenticeship programme.
At the end of it all, the students would have to pass an annual pre-enrolment assessment, conducted by Montfort Boys Town, to apply for the apprenticeship programme.

Advanced Modern Apprenticeship Programme Graduation for the class of 2021 and 2022 -
Apart from signing the MoU with Montfort Boys Town, the automaker also bestowed the graduates of Advanced Modern Apprenticeship Programme Graduation for the class of 2021 and 2022. A total of 99 trainees completed the training and are now globally certified technicians. A few students received recognition for their outstanding performance in every aspect of the course, like use of tools, efficiency, safety consciousness, knowledge, behaviors, responsibility, etc.
