Auto Bavaria launched a new Service Fast Lane Centre

KUALA LUMPUR: Auto Bavaria Penang, the representative of BMW, Motorrad, and MINI premium vehicles in Malaysia, has introduced its first-ever Service Fast Lane Centre in the country. The new facility will be providing maintenance and repair services for BMW and MINI vehicles, with the intent of getting customers back on the road in the shortest possible time.  

Located along Jalan Sungai Pinang in Penang, the new service centre will also complement the after-sales services provided by the company’s main facility in Jalan Anson. The fully air-conditioned building is spread over a total area of 30,000 square feet. It has a premium customer lounge, six service bays, and two RATC (Reception at the Car) bays.

With better efficiency and time optimisation, the quick services provided at the centre include:

• Regular vehicle maintenance
• Wear and tear repairs
• Tyre replacement
• Cosmetic repairs

Mr. Vi Thim Juan, Managing Director, Sime Darby Auto Bavaria, detailed that this new Fast Lane facility has been launched to help out their customers save the time involved in getting the necessary service and repairs for their cars. For this, the process includes the discussion of estimated cost and duration at the time when a customer calls to book for the Service Fast Lane. This means the customers can get the cost estimates, including itemised costs for parts and labour beforehand. It ensures price transparency and allows vehicle owners to make informed decisions about the service, the company says. 

“Our Service Fast Lane Centre is designed to fit customers’ routine with minimal interruption. Service appointment scheduling is also flexible, allowing customers to bring in their cars at a time most convenient to them. With Service Fast Lane, service and repairs are done in a fraction of the time while customers sip their coffee and relax at our lounge,” said Vi.
