BMW i7 and i5 support Malaysia’s green Initiatives during ASEAN 2025

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia has been leading the ASEAN group of nations in 2025 as the Chair, promoting sustainability and collaborative development across Southeast Asia. To support this national sustainable mobility initiative, BMW Group Malaysia is ready to supply BMW EVs for official use during ASEAN events.

In other words, BMW serves as a mobility partner for the ASEAN-Malaysia Chairmanship 2025. The government fleet will include the BMW i7 xDrive60 M Sport and the BMW i5 eDrive40 M Sport. These luxury BMW EVs will transport officials throughout the event, ensuring smooth, eco-friendly mobility.

This move aligns with Malaysia's National Energy Transition Roadmap (NETR), a long-term plan to move the country toward cleaner, low-carbon energy.
