All-new 2026 Zeekr X launched in Malaysia with more power and new features

KUALA LUMPUR: Zeekr Intelligent Technology Malaysia has officially launched the all-new Zeekr X, bringing a refreshed take on its premium electric SUV to the local market. The upgraded Zeekr X features more distinctive styling, sharper performance, and added comfort to enhance the ownership experience.

2026 Zeekr X: Price

The refreshed EV is offered in two variants - Premium RWD and Flagship AWD, priced as follows -

Included in the price is a five-year/150,000 km vehicle warranty, an eight-year/160,000 km battery warranty, and a complimentary one-year data package offering 5GB per month.

2026 Zeekr X: Exterior 

Developed around the tagline “Boldly Yours”, the upgraded EV benefits from subtle cosmetic enhancements on the exterior that set it apart from the earlier model. Key changes include - 

• New 19-inch wheels on the Premium variant and new black paint finish for the 20-inch multi-spoke wheel design on the Flagship
• Automatic front doors, operated by buttons on the B- and C-pillars
• An intelligent interactive B-pillar, serving as a charging status indicator

The electric SUV looks striking with double-edged daytime running lights, equipped with 56 independently controlled LEDs and modern tail lights extending across the full-width of the tailgate, incorporating 229 LEDs

With no changes to its dimensions, the EV measures 4,432 mm in length, 1,836 mm in width, and 1,566 mm in height, and has a 2,750 mm wheelbase, making it perfectly sized for urban streets. 

2026 Zeekr X: Interior 

The 2026 Zeekr X comes with a redesigned interior and a suite of new standard features across both variants, including. 

• 5.7-litre refrigerator
• New two-spoke multifunction steering wheel with touch bar buttons
• Dual phone holders, including a cooled Qi wireless device charger.
• More practical boot space increased from 362 litres to 404 litres.

The upgraded model is kitted with a 14.6-inch infotainment display, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chipset. It can be adjusted up to 353 mm towards the front passenger. 

Continuing features list includes - an 8.8-inch digital gauge cluster, an augmented reality head-up display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual-zone automatic climate control, a 13-speaker Yamaha sound system, and power-adjustable seats. 

2026 Zeekr X: Drivetrain, range, and charging

The upgraded Premium RWD trim is powered by a more powerful electric motor, tuned to deliver a maximum power of 340 PS and a peak torque of 373 Nm, representing a notable increase of 68 PS and 30 Nm over the outgoing model. Feeding the motor is a 61-kWh Energee LFP battery, offering a WLTP-claimed range of 415 km. 

The base-spec model now supports 11 kW AC onboard charging (enabling 0% to 100% charge in 7.5 hours), up from 7 kW. The 150 kW DC charger juices up 10 to 80% battery in 30 minutes.

The Zeekr X Flagship AWD, on the other hand, now delivers 496 PS and 573 Nm, up from 428 PS and 543 Nm, allowing the EV to run from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.7 seconds (0.1 second quicker than before). The dual-motor setup comes mated to a 66 kWh CATL NMC battery, offering a cruising range of 445 km. It now supports 22 kW AC charging, enabling a 0-100% SoC in 4 hours, with DC charging remaining the same as the Premium trim.

2026 Zeekr X: Safety 

As before, both variants of the Zeekr X come packed with seven airbags and a comprehensive ADAS suite, backed by 5 HD cameras, 5 millimetre-wave radars, 12 short-range ultrasonic radars, and one in-vehicle monitoring camera. 

The ADAS pack bundles the following features - 

• Adaptive cruise control 
• Autonomous emergency braking 
• Lane keep assist
• Emergency lane keep assist
• Forward collision warning 
• Blind spot monitors with rear cross-traffic alert 
• Front cross traffic alert
• Autonomous parking assistant
• Door opening warning

2026 Zeekr X: Colour options 

Zeekr offers two exclusive new shades for the new Flagship variant - Onyx Black and Matte Khaki Green, while the Premium variant gets a unique Porcelain Pink finish. 

With these updates, Zeekr aims to further strengthen the appeal of the Zeekr X as a premium, technology-led EV for modern Malaysian buyers.
