Bentley reveals Flying Spur First Edition, 12-month production run

KUALA LUMPUR: The British automaker has revealed Bentley Flying Spur First Edition at the Elton John AIDS Foundation Gala. And the car has a limited production run of one year. The automaker has not mentioned the exact built capacity, but in true Crewe tradition, it would be customised to customers taste.

The Flying Spur displays a number of add-ons like the First Edition fascia and exterior badge along with a Union Jack flag with no.1 in the centre. Owners can also get the First Edition Winged Emblems embroidered on the headrests. The package also includes a First Edition non-illuminated treadplates and a set of 22-inch Mulliner Driving Specification alloy wheels.

The high-end automaker further said that the Flying Spur First Edition features some of the most luxurious exterior and interior features as standard fitments, which otherwise are usually optional. Along with the single veneer options, customers can also go for a range of dual veneers finishes that would look superb with the Grand Black inserts. And without a doubt, the car comes with the retractable Flying B mascot.

The Flying Spur First Edition is powered by a hand-built 6.0-litre twin-turbo W12 TSI mill that churns out a maximum power of 635 PS along with a peak torque of 900 Nm. This mill can accelerate this 2,437 kg car from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.8 seconds. The speedometer reads a top-speed of 333 kmph. The engine is paired to an 8-speed ZF dual-clutch gearbox that then sends power to all four wheels.
