BMW Group Malaysia honours top dealers and Individuals at 2025 Dealer Awards Night

KUALA LUMPUR: It was a night of recognition and celebration as BMW Group Malaysia honoured its dealer network across the BMW, MINI, and BMW Motorrad brands at the annual Dealer Awards Night.

Held at the M Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, the event brought together over 200 guests, including top-performing dealership representatives from across the country.

The awards recognised excellence in vehicle sales, aftersales service, technical training, and customer satisfaction — core elements of what the company calls the Premium Ownership Experience.

According to BMW Group Malaysia Managing Director Benjamin Nagel, “Our annual Dealer Awards Night has served time and again as a platform for us to honour the resilience, passion, and excellence in service that continue to drive our success in Malaysia. In 2024, despite its challenges, our dealer network remained steadfast in delivering Sheer Driving Pleasure to our customers, reinforcing BMW Group Malaysia’s leadership in the premium segment.”

Nagel also highlighted the brand’s ongoing milestone, the 50th anniversary of the BMW 3 Series — a model he said “has shaped the very identity of our brand for generations.”

Notable Individual Honours

Among the many accolades given out that night:

• Ahmad Dhiyaudin Bin Rosleli from Millennium Welt Kuala Lumpur North was recognised as BMW Product Genius 2024, for delivering exceptional product knowledge and customer guidance.

• Rampirabu A/L Engiddaraman of Auto Bavaria Ara Damansara received the BMW High Voltage Expert title, one of the brand’s most challenging EV-related certifications.

Aftersales & Technical Excellence

The BMW Aftersales Vision Club honoured dealership staff across categories such as service advisors, technicians, and parts managers. Standouts included:

• Gloria Sigus (Regas Premium Kuching), Gururaj A/L Vijayandran (Lee Motors), and Crystal Yee Siew Min (Millennium Welt Kuantan) in the Quality Customer Care Manager category.

• Kent Chuah Teong Lieh, Muhamad Tarmizi Ngah, and Hemanathan Rao led the Technician category.

BMW Motorrad & MINI Recognition

BMW Motorrad also had its moment, awarding top performers like:

• Tan Ni Rou (Auto Bavaria Penang) for Sales (Open Category)

• Muhammad Redzuan Mohamad Hedzir (Auto Bavaria Ara Damansara) as Technician of the Year

MINI’s Issigonis Club Awards were also presented, recognising achievements across its Cooper, Cooper S, Cooper SE, and John Cooper Works lines. Notables include Kenneth Lim Qi Heng, Patrick Lim Yen Siang, and Belinda Ong Gaik Choo in the Sales Advisor categories.

Top Financial Services and Dealership Support

BMW Financial Services also acknowledged strong performances:

• Lucas Liang Jit Lim (BMW), Patrick Lim (MINI), and Tan Yeok Thye (Motorrad) were recognised for securing the highest number of funded contracts.

• Auto Bavaria Ara Damansara was named the Most Supportive BMW Dealership 2024, with Dealer Principal Joe Lee Se Juan accepting the award.

• Andy Tian and Bryan Wong received awards for the highest penetration in BMW Financial Services, while similar recognition was given in MINI and Motorrad categories.

Vision and Excellence Club Awards

The BMW Vision Club and BMW Excellence Club awards honoured individuals and dealer principals in tiers ranging from Silver to Diamond.

The top Diamond honours for Head of Sales went to Victor Tan Wei Teck (Auto Bavaria Ara Damansara) and Reyhan Paul Davis (Auto Bavaria Kuala Lumpur).

For dealer principals, Joe Lee (Auto Bavaria Ara Damansara) and Vi Thim Juan (Auto Bavaria Penang) were among those taking home top honours in the Platinum and Gold categories respectively.

The Dealer Awards Night once again underlined the integral role that dealer partners play in upholding BMW’s premium values in Malaysia, especially as the company moves deeper into electrification and continues to expand its customer base.
