KUALA LUMPUR:  At the recent Bosch Tech Day 2024, the company showcased how software is transforming every aspect of its business. Bosch aims to generate billions in sales from software by the end of the decade, with over 48,000 associates involved in software engineering, including 42,000 in the Mobility sector.

    The software in their products is technology that is ‘Invented for life,’ improving their customers’ lives, said Hartung. The company is already seeing substantial success, having generated nearly 4 billion euros in sales from modern vehicle computers over the past three years.

Bosch is positioning itself to be a major player in this market, offering solutions like Vehicle Health for fleet operators and the Bosch L.OS digital platform for logistics companies.

    Bosch's advancements include the "eBrake to Zero" function, which ensures smooth, jolt-free braking, and a new vehicle computer developed with Qualcomm that combines infotainment and driver assistance functions, reducing costs and installation space.
