Geely Coolray arrives in the Philippines, starting from RM 78,641

KUALA LUMPUR: Sojitz G Auto Philippines, the official distributor of Geely in the Philippines has brought the new Geely Coolray in the country. The car is launched in three different versions that include Sport, Comfort, and Premium.

Design-wise, the SUV can have either LED headlamps or projector halogen. Other features include:

  • Panoramic sunroof
  • Digital instrument cluster of seven-inch
  • 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system screen along with QD Link Android connectivity

Moreover, the new Geely Coolray comes with a fabric or leather upholstery and 17- or 18-inch wheels. The car comes with a remote start that allows the driver to start the car’s engine along with the AC so that the cabin’s temperature decreases before his entrance.

New Geely Coolray specs sheet shows that all the variants are powered by the same G-Power 1.5-litre three-cylinder turbocharged petrol mill. It is capable of churning out a maximum power of 175 hp along with a peak torque of 255 Nm. It is the seven-speed wet dual-clutch transmission that sends power to the wheels.

Starting from zero, the SUV can accelerate up to 100 kmph in 7.9 seconds. It will provide a fuel-efficiency of 16.3 kmpl. The SUV comes with three different driving modes as Normal, Sport and Eco.

As for the safety features, the new Geely Coolray gets some standard features such as:

  • ABS with EBD
  • ESC
  • Hill start assist
  • Brake assist
  • Traction control
  • Hill descent control, etc.

Furthermore, the Sport version comes with a G-Pilot system that has perpendicular and semi-autonomous parallel parking with just the help of a button. There is also an around-view monitor for driver’s convenience.

The new Geely Coolray price is as follows:-

  • Comfort variant - PHP 978,000 (RM 78,641)
  • Premium variant- PHP 1,088,000 (RM 87,486)
  • Sport variant- PHP 1,198,000 (RM 96,331)
