KUALA LUMPUR: Last year, Isuzu’s popular pickup, the D-Max sold over 9k units, thus breaking its past sales records.

    Out of the total sales, 55% of the D-Max were delivered in Peninsular Malaysia and the flagship X-Terrain variant made it to the ‘premium lifestyle’ pickup truck segment and sold 877 units last year.

    A little about the country’s most popular pickup, the D-Max

    It was only last year that Isuzu Malaysia updated the D-Max with new comfort features for the top-spec X-Terrain 3.0 model. The variant’s specs sheet now includes - a wireless charging pad and a 360-degree surround view monitor. Powering it is a 3.0-litre 4-cylinder turbo diesel engine generating 190 hp and 450 Nm of torque. The drive is sent to all-four wheels via a 6-speed automatic transmission.
