McLaren Special Operations to bring a pair of 570S coupes to the Pebble Beach Concours
Kuala Lumpur: MSO (McLaren Special Opeations) is the bespoke division of the supercar manufacturer and has abilities to customise and modify cars according to customer's desires. MSO was first announced officially at the 2011 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance and now fast forward to 2015, it is going to unveil the first two customised models of the 570S at this year's Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance to be held in California on August 16.
The 'entry level' 570S coupe which was announced in March this year, is considered to be the first model in McLaren's sports series. The first modified McLaren 570S coupe is covered in a unique Mauvine Blue paint along with a carbon black leather upholstery and matching blue details inside the car. The second 570S is finished in Ventura Orange and would also feature several other accessories from the MSO defined catalog. Both of these cars which will be parked at the concept lawn of the event are designed to offer personalisation options to its customers with an extra dash of exclusivity.
The McLaren 570S would be packed with 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 engine which is capable of generating a maximum power of 570 PS along with a peak torque of 600 Nm. Further, it is mated with a seven-speed SSG transmission that sends power to its rear wheels. It can complete a sprint of 0-100 kmph in just 3.2 seconds along with a top speed clocked at 328 kmph. Official importer McLaren Kuala Lumpur has confirmed that 540C and 570S are now open for pre-order at a price starting from RM638,000 (excluding duties and taxes).
