Meet Leapmotor’s new electric sedan, the B01

KUALA LUMPUR: Leapmotor has expanded its B-Series lineup with the reveal of an all-new electric sedan, the B01, at the 2025 Auto Shanghai show. It is built on the same LEAP 3.5 platform that underpins the Malaysia-bound B10 SUV.

Leapmotor B01 dimensions

The Leapmotor B10 measures 4,770 mm in length, 1,880 mm in width, and 1,490 mm in height, and spans a wheelbase of 2,735 mm.

The sedan has a sleek and aerodynamically refined body with an impressive drag coefficient of 0.197 Cd. The front styling looks similar to the brand’s other EVs, such as C10 and B10. It comes with slim light bars on the front and rear, as well as a Panoramic glass roof. Eight body colour options will be offered, including a new "Morgan Pink," developed in collaboration with Pantone.

Leapmotor B01 price

As per the Chinese media reports, the B01 is expected to be an affordable EV with a price tag ranging from CNY 100,000 to CNY 150,000 (roughly RM 60k to RM 90k).

The B01 is a part of the Leapmotor B-Series, focusing on the world’s largest segment, covering multiple products including SUVs and sedans. By the end of 2025, three models of this series - B10, B05, and B01 will be ready to hit the global roads.
