New Continental UltraContact UX7 tyre in Malaysia - Extra safe, durable, and quiet

KUALA LUMPUR: Continental Tyres has introduced the all-new SUV-dedicated tyre in Malaysia, called the UltraContact UX7. Targeting the practical demands of urban SUV drivers, the new Continental tyre is engineered for extra safety, durability and quietness.

SUV Confidence+ Technology

Built for versatility and engineered for extraordinary use, the UltraContact UX7 underpins the SUV Confidence+ Technology, which focuses on delivering safety, durability, and noise comfort.

With a more robust construction, it offers better vehicle control and stability and can manage daily wear and tear across tough terrains. It is specifically developed and optimised with the SUV drivers’ needs in mind.

Advanced grip and safety technologies

As SUVs are taller and heavier, the performance of tyres is important for safety and control as they have to manage directional forces during acceleration, braking, and cornering. To address this demand, Continental has equipped the new UltraContact UX7 with the following advanced technologies - 

X-Force Macroblocks	It is a special tread design that increases the contact area with the road and creates a wider footprint for better handling and stability.
Adaptive Diamond Compound	The rubber compound incorporating silica enhances the transformation of kinetic energy into heat at optimum levels and provides shorter braking distances on wet and dry roads.
Aqua Channel	The water drainage system within the tyre tread quickly drains water through a unique tube system and accelerates water evacuation.

Robust360 Construction

Thanks to its Robust360 construction, the new Continental tyre is more durable and longer-lasting. It features a strong steel belt that helps absorb shocks and keep the tyre in shape for better control. This sturdier carcass design lowers the risk of tyre damage.

This unique construction also includes special polymer chains. Made of Diamond Compound, they form a rigidly interlocked network, improving the tyre’s wear performance.

Noisebreaker 3.0 

With more electric SUVs running on the roads, the urban driver demands quieter rides. The UX7 also addresses this concern with its precision-cut tread design and Noisebreaker 3.0. It breaks up sound waves so that noise does not build up and travel into the cabin, thus offering a pleasant and quiet riding experience.

Continental UltraContact UX7 sizes

The UltraContact UX7 is available in a wide range of sizes, ranging from 15- to 22-inch for crossovers, mid-size SUVs, and premium SUVs
