Singapore gets the all-new 2023 Honda Jazz e:HEV

KUALA LUMPUR: While Honda has replaced the Jazz with the City Hatchback in Malaysia, the model is still on sale in the Singapore market. And the good news for Honda lovers in the island nation is the latest iteration of the hatchback has now arrived on their shores. 

Honda Singapore offers the all-new fourth-generation Jazz in three variants - Crosstar Monotone, Crosstar Dual Tone, and Luxe, at a price ranging from SGD 145,999 (RM 484k) to SGD 147,999 (RM 490k).

All the variants are powered by the same i-MMD petrol-electric engine that combines a 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated i-VTEC DOHC mill and 90-kW electric motor combinedly producing a maximum power of 121 hp and a peak torque of 253 Nm. This hybrid setup is identical to the one available on the Malaysia-spec City and City Hatchback. 

The power is sent to the wheels via an e-CVT gearbox. The new 2023 Honda Jazz e:HEV promises to deliver a fuel efficiency of 22.7 km per litre.

Design-wise, the facelift model benefits from a new front grille, darker headlight inserts, and a new rear bumper. A new Fjord Mist Blue option is also added to the colour palette.

In terms of dimensions, the crossover-style Crossstar variants measure 4095 mm in length, 1725 mm in width, and 1567 mm in height. The Luxe trim, on the other hand, is 4088 mm long, 1694 mm wide, and 1537 mm tall. The wheelbase and boot space of both iterations measures the same at 2530 mm and 284 litres, respectively.
