Spyshots: G11 BMW 7 Series spotted in Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur: This time it is G11 BMW 7 Series! Reader Lim Erh Pin spotted a pair of the sedan on the NKVE recently, when it is in quick process to officially launch in Malaysia soon!

Although, there is not so much of information available for the vehicle. You need to wait more for the exact specifications of the Malaysian market 740Li (technically the G12, in long-wheelbase form). In comparison to the already revealed W222 Mercedes-Benz S 400h, G11 BMW 7 Series is high on speculation to bring more under the hood.

From pictures placed on the trailers, we have figured out that the 740Li will get 19-inch wheels, the Design Pure Excellence package and chrome trim surrounding the exhaust pipes. It might feature a 3.0-litre turbocharged straight-six petrol engine to churn out a maximum power output of 326 PS and 450 Nm of torque. Furthermore, it is coupled with an eight-speed Sport Automatic transmission.

Knowing more about the vehicle, the latest 7 Series has a Carbon Core construction, with a mix of carbon-fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP), magnesium, aluminium and steel to make it lighter by as much as 130 kg compared to its predecessor. On insides as well, the car equips a touch-screen iDrive 5.0 with gesture control interface. Stay tuned with us to get more information about this BMW drive.
