KUALA LUMPUR: It was only last month that Jim Rowan, Volvo CEO, confirmed the arrival of the ongoing XC90 successor, the EX90. The Swedish automaker revealed the car will make its debut on Nov 9, 2022, and come with several impressive inclusions.

Part of the Volvo EX90 specs sheet is a fully electric powertrain, sophisticated software, and state-of-the-art sensors. The latter Volvo says is “one of the most advanced sensor sets on the market” with 16 ultrasonic sensors, 8 cameras, 5 radars, and a LiDAR sensor. Thus making the upcoming EX90 one of the safest models ever”.

Now adding to EX90’s list of attributes is its supremely amazing cabin which Volvo finally showed via its latest teaser.

Here’s what the teaser reveals about its upcoming electric flagship SUV, the EX90 -

• The EX90’s cabin reflects Scandinavian design which blends perfectly with a luxurious ambience and sustainable materials
• The horizontally-mounted air vents will get sculpted trim around
• Catching the eye is a large-diameter portrait-style infotainment touchscreen system with thinner bezels
• Adding to the fancy kit is the EVs upholstery options
• The automaker offers the car in seven colour & material combos which obviously goes in accordance with the exterior tone
• Leaving behind the old-fashioned automotive luxury like the smell of animal leather, the EX90 offers an alternative, more sustainable options like a wool blend seat finish
• Each EX90 unit will use a total of 50 kg of recycled plastics and bio-based materials
• The EVs carpet uses regenerated polyamide, another of the car’s circular material

Volvo describes the EX90’s cabin as “one of the most pleasant and elegant car interiors on the market” and we fully agree. Also, the above-mentioned inclusions will get Volvo closer to its climate-neutral goal by 2020.

With Volvo EX90’s debut still a few weeks away, once launched the EV is expected to come along with more amazing and best-in-class features.
