Volkswagen Golf, Polo and Passat Gets New Equipments

Kuala Lumpur: With the coming new year, Volkswagen is all set to give new equipments to its Golf, Polo and Passat in 2016. Although these upgrades are limited to UK models only and deliveries would begin in early 2016. These upgrades would be provided at very low prices, and to our surprise the news came just after Volkswagen announced no price hike in future. Well, these truly remarks the efforts made by the German carmaker to exonerate itself from the infamous Volkswagen “Dieselgate”.

Coming back to the upgrades, an all new Polo Match would be introduced to replace the older SE trim. This new version would be launched in three-door or five-door body style along with plethora of engine choices. Additional features include cruise control, parking sensors, fog lamps, tinted windows and 15-inch alloy wheels which are all stated to be £900 worth. With all such features, Polo Match price is stated to be £12,735.

Talking about seventh generation Volkswagen Golf, it would be launched with two new variants namely Golf GT Edition and Golf R-Line Edition. Priced at £23,915 Golf GT Edition is going to replace the GT trim level and would receive new equipments like 18-inch Durbon alloy wheels and panoramic sunroof which are worth £1,730. The Golf R-Line Edition also gets an additional kit worth £1,730 which includes 18-inch Serron alloy wheels and panoramic sunroof. With all these features, it would be rolled out with a price tag of £24,860.

Lastly, the all new Passat SE Business would be replacing the older SE trim. Additional features for this variant includes discover navigation system, fog lamps, electric folding wing mirrors and tinted rear windows which are worth £555. These upgrades come as a fresh start after the Volkswagen diesel emission fraud. All these new versions of Polo, Golf and Passat are available to order in UK with deliveries starting in early 2016.
