Volkswagen introduces Sound & Style Editions for Passat, Tiguan, and Golf in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia has launched the Sound & Style Editions for the Passat, Tiguan, and Golf. All the special edition models will come with unique accessories. The new range is currently on display in Putrajaya at the ongoing Volkswagen Tour event, which started on May 14th and will conclude on May 20th.

Starting with the Volkswagen Passat, both its Comfortline and Highline versions get the Sound & Style Editions treatment, priced at RM 189,619.20 and RM212,412, respectively. Both the variants have some new accessories in common, including tinting, Helix soundbar, dedicated emblem, side scuff plates, and aluminium sports pedals.

Additionally, the Sound & Style Edition of Comfortline variant gets 18-inch ‘Dartford’ alloy wheels instead of the standard 17-inch ‘Istanbul’ set of wheels. On the other hand, the Highline variant gets the 19-inch ‘Verona’ alloy wheels to replace the 18-inch ‘Dartford’ wheels. The wheels sets are worth RM 12,000 for the former and RM 16,000 for the latter.

Next in line is the Volkswagen Tiguan Sound and Style Edition, which costs around RM 175,560. The additional features for the new package are - a dedicated emblem, the Helix soundbar, a black finished rear spoiler, and tinting. Moreover, 18-inch ‘Kingston’ alloy wheels, 8-inch Discover Media infotainment unit, Vienna leather upholstery, and triple-zone climate control.

Last but not least, the Golf R-Line Sound & Style Edition comes with a price tag of RM178,110. The accessories list consists of a VW Tint window film, a ‘Sound & Style’ emblem, and a German car audio specialist Helix’s 300-watt soundbar. Standard accessories include dual-zone climate control, R-Line styling kit, LED headlamps, 17-inch ‘Singapore’ alloy wheels, 8-inch Composition Media infotainment etc.

Also, booking any of these Volkswagen models during the event will get you a free RM1,000 petrol card along with a discount of RM 500 on the total cost.
