Aveta strengthens motorcycle aftersales support in Malaysia with wider Care on Wheels coverage

KUALA LUMPUR: Aveta Motor Malaysia is widening the reach of its Aveta Care on Wheels programme, with the brand adding more mobile service support across Peninsular Malaysia to improve aftersales assistance for its motorcycle owners.

KEY TAKEAWAYS

  • What is Aveta Care on Wheels?

Aveta Care on Wheels is a mobile aftersales service programme in Malaysia that provides support for Aveta motorcycle owners in covered regions.
  • How many Aveta mobile service units are now operating in Peninsular Malaysia?

Aveta says its mobile aftersales fleet has now been expanded to six units across Peninsular Malaysia.
  • Which areas are covered under the expanded Aveta Care on Wheels network?

The expanded network covers parts of Kedah, Perlis, Penang, Perak, Southern Johor, the Central Region, Melaka, and the East Coast.
  • The move is meant to make it easier for Aveta riders in Malaysia to get help when needed, especially in areas where travelling back to a service centre may be less convenient.

As part of the expansion, selected Preferred Plus dealers have now been brought into the mobile service network, allowing the company to extend its aftersales support footprint and respond faster to customer issues on the ground.

Aveta says its mobile aftersales fleet in Peninsular Malaysia has now grown to six units, supported by its Preferred Plus dealer network. With more units on the road, the company is aiming to reduce waiting times and cut down the inconvenience riders may face when trying to get service support.

Under the updated arrangement, mobile aftersales support and courtesy bike services are available through all participating dealers in the covered regions. The idea here is straightforward, give customers a more consistent ownership experience without having to rely solely on fixed service centres.

In the north, KW Keat Wei Motor will support riders in Kedah, including Alor Setar, with coverage also extending into Perlis. Also strengthening northern coverage is CKT Motor, which will handle support from Sungai Petani and nearby areas, stretching across Penang and Perak.

Further south, NG Brothers Motor has been assigned to support riders in Southern Johor, covering areas from Simpang Renggam to Johor Bahru, along with surrounding locations.

Aveta said the wider service reach is being made possible through closer collaboration with its Preferred Plus dealers, which are also involved in supporting both the mobile service units and the courtesy bike programme. The brand is effectively leaning on its dealer network to scale up aftersales support while trying to keep service standards more uniform across different regions.

This expanded dealer-backed setup now works alongside Aveta’s own in-house mobile service team, which continues to handle the Central Region, Melaka, and the East Coast. Combined, the network gives Aveta broader aftersales coverage across Peninsular Malaysia than before.

“The expansion of Aveta Care on Wheels is ultimately about our customers,” said Steven Lim, Group Managing Director of Aveta Motor Malaysia. “We understand that ownership goes beyond the purchase of a motorcycle—it’s about the confidence and support riders receive every day after. By working closely with our Preferred Plus dealers, we’re making our services more accessible, more responsive, and more aligned with what our customers truly need.”

The expansion also reflects how motorcycle brands in Malaysia are putting more attention on aftersales support, not just sales volume. In Aveta’s case, the company is trying to build a stronger ownership ecosystem by combining its own service resources with dealer-level support, rather than relying on one side alone.

As the brand continues to grow its presence in Malaysia, this latest move suggests Aveta is placing more weight on what happens after a customer takes delivery of a bike. For owners, that usually comes down to one thing, how quickly and how easily support can be accessed when something goes wrong.
