The 2 Series Gran Coupe is one of those cars that look the most refined when in move, rather than the photos. I drove it mostly around Hartamas and Bangsar, where the compact dimensions gave me the utmost relief, especially during peak traffic times. The M Series steering wheel adds a wonderful weight, while the sports seats hugged me comfortably through the tighter bends. I was impressed by the ingenious gesture control technology— volume adjustments without even touching anything became my second nature. The 7-speed DCT is quick, and the lane departure assist is well tuned for the road markings specific to Malaysia. If anything poorly designed, it would be the limited rear headroom.
