Simple and brilliant engineering, daily relief
I didn’t expect much emotion from the Nissan Almera at the beginning, but it quietly earned my respect over time. the low 0.30 drag coefficient makes it stable and calm on long highway drives, especially during crosswinds. I also noticed how the CVT’s D-Step Logic mimics gear changes better than the older versions, reducing the elastic feeling during acceleration. The cabin surprised me with its decent legroom, making office carpools easier than expected. Steering is extremely lightweight, ideal for crowded town centers. During quicker overtakes, though, I found myself planning earlier as the power buildup is gradual and gentle rather than being instant.
