Easy-to-drive compact SUV

There’s a lot of fascination around SUVs these days. It seems everyone wants a car that’s strong and powerful, yet affordable. The Perodua Ativa has great looks and stands somewhere between an MPV and an SUV. I drove my friend’s Ativa recently and the experience was good. It’s a well-built car and Perodua has engineered the car well. It looks boxy. But the cabin space surprised me, despite being a compact car. There’s ample storage space. The car handled very well and it was easy to drive. It’s a very affordable car in its segment.
