Stylish but annoying range display

I have not seen a car as good-looking as the Peugeot 2008. It stands out from all my other cars in terms of its look. It also has good mileage and averages 45.5mpg over a few thousand miles. On the motorway, it gives a mileage of around 50-odd mpg. A few things that I dislike about the car are the difficult-to-operate clutch and the annoying range display. Whenever I drive out of the street, the range drops by 6-7 miles. This problem becomes even more evident on short trips. During one of my 3-mile trips, the range dropped by 25 miles.
