What to Expect From the 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander?

Kuala Lumpur: Recently, Mitsubishi Malaysia released a teaser image of 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander on its official Facebook page. After that, initial specifications of this SUV were also revealed on the local website. All this hints towards an early launch in Malaysia. Moreover, in December 2015 Mitsubishi confirmed its launch in early 2016. But before its launch, if you want to get a glimpse of Outlander then visit Bangsar Shopping Centre, Centre Court from 24-28 February between 10 AM to 10 PM. Mitsubishi is organising a roadshow at this event where you can get up close and personal with the all-new Outlander and also test drive your favourite Mitsubishi car.

Before this Mitsubishi SUV arrives on Malaysian shores, let's have a brief look about what you can expect from this car.

1.Under the hood, it would be employed with a 2.4-litre MIVEC petrol engine, which churns out a maximum power of 166 hp along with a peak torque of 219 Nm. It is the sole engine, which is being offered as Malaysia would not be getting the Plug-in hybrid version (PHEV).

2.This engine would be mated with a new-generation CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) which offers smooth and faster response during partial acceleration. Moreover, its reduced friction-induced torque loss helps to deliver an impressive fuel economy.

3.Towards the front fascia it features a powerful and dynamic design language. It is adorned with a two plate chrome grille along with company's insignia embossed in between. Moreover, illumination is provided through its LED headlamps along with LED daytime running lights. Further, this car rides on huge 18-inch alloy wheels.

4.Talking about the interior, this SUV features a generous cabin space along with comfortable seating that can accommodate up to seven occupants. Further, the seats are wrapped in high-quality black leather, which goes well with the all-black interior. The most striking feature of this car is that the rear seating arrangement can be flexibly arranged according to the requirements. Moreover, the automaker also claims that Outlander features a 'best-in-class' cargo space.

With all these features, this Car looks all ready to set the SUV segment on fire.
