2016 Honda Jazz Now Available in Carnival Red Color Option

Honda, the Japanese manufacturer, has introduced a new exciting color scheme namely Carnival Red for all the three S, V and E variants of the Honda Jazz. With the presence of new color choice, the Honda Jazz line-up is consists of 5 color options including Tinted Silver, Taffeta White, Crystal Black Pearl and Modern and Steel Metallic. The new color option flaunts young, vibrant and appealing looks.

In addition, ‘S’ the entry-level variant of Jazz also received few upgrades which were based on the market feedback. The Honda Jazz ‘S’ gets power adjustable door mirrors, a gloss black front grille with chrome plating, while the rear license garnish is also chrome plated. The previous models of Honda Jazz ‘S’ are provided with manual doors mirror mechanism. 

Previously in November  2015, the Honda Jazz has received a full 5-star rating in the Euro NCAP crash test, which means it provides a high level of safety.

Yoichiro Ueno, Honda Malaysia Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, stated, “We have observed that the Jazz is attracting a new group of young customers mainly tertiary students and young adults who are looking to own their first car. Research has shown that the colour red was depicted to be fresh, vibrant and young. We are pleased to introduce the Jazz in Carnival Red, which is a perfect combination of fun and practicality, and we are confident it will be able to meet our young customers’ requirements. The vibrant and striking colour complements the versatile lifestyle of the young customers perfectly,”.

The 3rd generation Honda Jazz maintained to sell out 26,126 units as of 31st December 2015 since its launch in July 2014. Through this new paint option, the company is aiming to improve the sales figure of this four-wheeled machine.

The versatile B-compact machine proved its legacy in the hatchback segment. The engine of Honda Jazz generates maximum power of 118.3hp, that means more power and superb acceleration and it is equipped with continuously variable transmission mechanism which is better than the automatic one when compared to its competitors such as Chevrolet Sonic and Volkswagen Polo in the hatchback segment.

2016 Honda Jazz carries a price tag of RM73,800 for base variant ‘S’, RM81,000 for E variant and  RM89,000 for the top-end variant i.e. ‘V’ (all prices are on-road including insurance).
