2016 Hyundai Tucson previewed at Sunway Carnival Mall, expected launch in November

Kuala Lumpur: The 2016 Hyundai Tucson is soon going to hit the shores of Malaysia. The Korean car maker has previewed its all new facelift of the Hyundai Tucson recently at a roadshow at the Sunway Carnival Mall in Seberang Jaya, Penang. Well, the showcase of the all-new Tucson makes up believe that, soon the car will be officially launched in the Malaysian market. Probably in the month of November as per our sources.

Hyundai has tried its best to fill your glass of amazement with its newly tweaked SUV entry into the Malaysian market. We don't know the exact date of launch but still looking at the advancements in the Tucson, it's worth waiting for. The 2016 Hyundai Tucson featured in the image above seems to be a top spec model with its all new contemporary styling. Hyundai has worked on the exteriors of the car, which is clearly evident from its elegant chrome accents framing the front grille and the presence of LED daytime running lights (DRL).

The lower end of the car is added with a silver-coloured skid plate which can also be seen over the side skirts and rear bumper. The wide rear of the Hyundai Tucson features twin exhausts meticulously embedded into the silver bumper. Looking closer, we also see a reverse camera addition to enhancing the intuitiveness while parking the car.

So far the car is being sold in the US market with an engine capacity of 2.0 litre Nu inline-four petrol mill that whisks out a maximum power of 164 hp and 205 Nm of torque. The transmission should be a six-speed automatic as the seven-speed dual-clutch unit is only reserved for the 1.6 litre turbocharged engine which might not be coming to the Malaysian market.

The exteriors of the car were well observed by our sources, but not much was seen on the inside as the car was locked. Although a sneak peeks revealed that the all-new Tucson features a leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel and a five-inch touchscreen LCD display.

His childhood craving for the cars started with Hot wheels toys which led him to create pseudo cars on his own. When people loved playing outdoor sports, Sanchit was stuck to his racing video games hidden in a closet. The torque of his creative writing coupled with his passion for moving machines pushed him into Carbay's garage. Sanchit also wonders's, why is he writing this as a third person.
