Check out BMW Malaysia’s latest charging station in Seremban

KUALA LUMPUR: With the aim to expand its charging infrastructure in Seremban arear’s develop township, BMW Malaysia has launched its first facility in the region. Launched together with Millennium Welt and Matrix Concepts Holdings Berhad (MCHB), the new charging setup features MINI’s latest brand identity.

Millennium Welt, Managing Director, Bryan Wong on the launch of the new charging station said, “To date, we at Millennium Welt have already delivered over 140 electrified BMW and MINI vehicles, and we hope that with better access to charging facilities in the area, customers will have greater confidence in the shift to electromobility.”

Matrix Concepts Group, Carmen Loo, was also present at the inauguration and said, “The installation of the MINI Charging Facility here at d’Tempat Country Club – which has also received the Gold Green Building Index Certification, is part of our larger vision to promote sustainable transportation and reduce carbon footprint. Our goal is to foster a more sustainable future for ourselves and our future generations.”

BMW Malaysia’s new Bandar Sri Sendayan charging facility - Key details

• It features an 11 kWh Wallbox powered by ChargeEV
• One can use it at a standard rate of RM5 for every 20 minutes
• Location: Main entrance parking of d’ Tempat Country Club, PT 12653, Jalan Pusat Dagangan Sendayan 1, Bandar Sri Sendayan, 71950 Seremban, Negeri Sembilan
• Timing: 9:00 am to 11:00 pm

BMW Malaysia’s charging network

• Over 670 charging facilities are made available by the automaker in the local market
• The automaker plans to open 360 more charging stations via partnerships with ChargEV and Yinson Greentech
• 150 new facilities with Gentari
• 65 more BMW charging stations along with JomCharge
