Check out the 20 unit limited BMW 8 Series Frozen Black Edition range

KUALA LUMPUR: BMW Japan has launched the 20 unit limited 8 Series Frozen Black Edition range that consists of 15 Gran Coupe and five Coupe. The former is based on the 8 Series Gran Coupe, while the latter is built upon the 8 Series Coupe. The order books for the limited edition BMW range will open on Wednesday, i.e. June 30th.

As for the price, the two-door 8 Series Frozen Black coupe edition will retail for 15 million yen (approx. RM 563,326), while the Gran Coupe edition will go for a little bit more at 15.1 million yen (approx. RM 567,081).

What powers the BMW 8 Series Frozen Black Edition range?

Both the coupe and gran coupe versions of the BMW recent limited edition range are powered by a 3.0-litre straight-six turbo petrol engine that makes a maximum power output of 340 PS at 5,000 rpm along with a peak torque of 500 Nm. The power is sent to the rear wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission.

BMW 8 Series Frozen Black Edition highlights?

Well, if you love the colour black then the BMW’s Frozen Black Edition will definitely steal your heart away. The entire exterior body is finished in Frozen Black hue from the company’s Individual catalogue. The kidney grille, 20-inch light-alloy 728 wheels, M Sport calipers, and the tailpipes are done in black too.

The cabin is not far behind when it comes to following the theme. It features M Sport seats, black extended Merino leather upholstery, BMW Individual Alcantara roof liner, and BMW Individual piano black trim.

Adding to its stunning looks are lux elements like a Bowers & Wilkins Diamond Surround Sound System and a panoramic sunroof (only Gran Coupe).
