Continental Tyres Malaysia launches all-new EcoContact 6 and EcoContact 6Q tyres

KUALA LUMPUR: The leading German tyre manufacturer, Continental, has launched the all-new EcoContact 6 and EcoContact 6Q tyres in Malaysia to meet the growing demand for fuel-efficient and eco-friendly tyres in the country. 

These new Continental tyres deliver exceptional comfort, lower rolling resistance, and consume less fuel, thus enabling electrified vehicles to go further on one charge. Trusted by leading automotive brands, the EcoContact 6 and 6Q are factory-fitted by leading manufacturers like BMW and Mercedes-Benz.

Continental EcoContact 6 and EcoContact 6Q - Key highlights

• Engineered for fuel efficiency, these tyres incorporate a high-tech silica compound that reduces CO₂ emissions by optimising rolling resistance. 
• Continental EcoContact 6 features a tailor-made tread pattern, asymmetric rib, and sipe geometry, ensuring a superior grip and stability on wet and dry roads.
• Based on the ContiSilent technology, the tyres feature a polyurethane foam absorber, which reduces cabin noise by up to 9 dB(A). 
• Continental EcoContact 6Q comes with an advanced noise reduction technology, a custom tread pattern, and the “Advanced Green Chili 2.0” compound, which further improves rolling resistance, enhances fuel economy, and offers a quieter ride across different road surfaces.

The new Continental EcoContact 6 and 6Q are now available in sizes from 15" to 21", with OE markings specially developed and approved for BMW and Mercedes-Benz cars. These are also available at authorised Continental dealers across the country and official Continental stores on  Shopee, TNG eWallet, and Lazada.
