In line with our yesterday’s positive updates on the COVID-19 outbreak, here we bring some more updates to cheer you up. 

Successful treatment in India

The whole world is grappling with means and ways to cure coronavirus. Amid all this, some Indian doctors have got the success in curing the pandemic disease. The doctors used a combination of Malaria, swine flu, and HIV drugs. 

Closing down of coronavirus hospitals in China

The positive vibes are coming regularly from the Wuhan which was the epicenter of coronavirus in China. The government had set-up 16 temporary hospitals for treating corona patients. But all these hospitals are closed now and the final group of 49 patients has also been cured.

COVID-19 test results

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) of the US has approved a rapid COVID-19 test which gives results in just 45 minutes. It is a big achievement as compared to the current testing time which is 24 hours. The Coronavirus rapid test will be available to the hospitals by the end of March. However, the hospitals and labs which have "GeneXpert" systems, can only run the rapid tests.

Antibody against the virus

A group of ten researchers from the Erasmus Medical Center in Europe has discovered an antibody that is capable of fending off infection by the Covid-19 variant of coronavirus. Through this, the people would be able to test themselves at home to know the presence of the virus. The discovery could lead to antiviral medication.
